Home / Terms & Services
These terms explain how you may use the Carmalandscape website and how orders for electronics and digital products are handled. Please read them before you add products to your cart. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We can be reached at hello@carmalandscape.com.
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Carmalandscape operates this website to present headphones, computers, phones, cameras, wearables, smart home gear, accessories, and digital creative tools. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Carmalandscape. “You” means the person using the site or asking us to confirm an order. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address. Written email is the channel these terms rely on.
2. The nature of this website
The site is a static storefront. Product pages, the cart, saved items, and forms run in your browser. Placing an order on the checkout page does not charge a card, does not open a payment account, and does not by itself transmit your form entries to a server operated by us. The checkout page shows a confirmation so you know the request was recorded on your device, and it offers a way to email the summary to hello@carmalandscape.com.
A contract for goods or for a digital license is formed only when a representative confirms the order by email and you accept that confirmation, including the price, the items, and the way they will reach you. Until that confirmation, listings are invitations to ask, not a promise that a particular unit is reserved.
3. Using the website
You may browse, search, save products, and build a cart for personal shopping. You may not copy the site’s design to pass it off as your own shop, scrape the catalog in a way that degrades the site, attempt to break the pages, or use the forms to send abuse. You must be able to form a contract for the products you request. If you are using the site for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that company.
We may change the catalog, prices, and these pages at any time. A change to these terms applies from the date on this page. An order already confirmed by email keeps the terms that were in place when it was confirmed, unless a later change is required to obey the law or you agree to the update.
4. Product information
We describe products in ordinary language and in short specification tables: drivers, battery claims, storage, license seats, and what is in the box. Photographs are natural images of electronics, desks, and creative work. A photograph shows the kind of product or the kind of work a download supports. Colors on your screen can differ from the object. Small variations in finish that do not affect use are not faults.
Capacity claims, such as battery hours or flight time, are measured under gentle conditions. Your result will change with volume, screen brightness, wind, and age. We do not promise that a laptop, phone, or camera will run every file or every accessory you already own. If you need a specific fit, ask before you rely on a listing. Tell us the model you already have.
Digital products are not physical goods. PhotoLab, SoundForge, and CineGrade are licenses and files. Their pages say so. Do not expect a parcel for a digital line.
5. Prices and offers
Prices are shown in the currency marked on the page. A crossed-out price is the earlier shelf price, not a promise that the item was sold at that figure to you. Promotional lines, including percentage offers on audio or desks, last until the date we state or until we withdraw them, whichever comes first. The countdown on the home page is a display of a campaign end. When it reaches zero, the campaign display ends even if a representative is still writing to you about an earlier request.
We may correct a price that is obviously wrong, such as a decimal placed in the wrong position. If we notice the error after you have written and before a representative has confirmed the order, we will offer the corrected price or cancel the request. We will not quietly charge a higher figure. We do not take payment on this website at all.
Shipping of hardware is free when the confirmed hardware subtotal is over $150. Below that, delivery cost is stated in the confirmation email before you accept. Digital licenses have no freight charge.
6. Orders and acceptance
An order request contains the products in your cart, the quantities, your name, your email, and any note you typed. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address. If the address is wrong, the confirmation cannot reach you, and we may treat the request as withdrawn after a reasonable attempt to read what you sent.
Checkout asks you to confirm that the details are ready for a representative to follow up. That checkbox is required. After a valid form, the page shows this sentence: “Thank You! your order received, one of our representative will contact you”. That sentence means the request is recorded for follow-up. It is not a receipt for a captured payment, because no payment is captured.
We may decline or limit a request if a product is unavailable, if we cannot deliver a digital license to your situation, if the request looks mistaken, or if we cannot verify that the email belongs to a person we can write to. We will say so by email when we have a working address.
7. Payment
Payment is arranged in the email conversation after you and a representative agree the order. Do not type card numbers into the forms on this website. Those forms are not a payment page, and they are not built to store card data. Any payment method a representative offers will be described in the email before you send money. If a method is not described, do not use it.
Title to hardware passes when the item is delivered to you under the confirmed order, subject to the returns section below. A digital license is granted when we send the license or the download and you have paid the confirmed price, or when the confirmation email says the license is released, whichever the confirmation states.
8. Hardware delivery
Delivery details, including where a parcel should go, are collected in the confirmation email rather than on this website. You must provide a location where someone can receive the parcel, or another arrangement the representative accepts. Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is handed to you or to a person you named. If a courier’s scan shows delivery and you cannot find the box, tell us quickly and we will help you ask the courier what happened.
Times given in email are estimates. Weather, customs holds where they apply, and stock delays can move a date. We will tell you when we know a date has slipped. You may cancel a hardware order that has not yet been handed to a courier if the new date is not acceptable. If it has already been handed over, the returns section applies instead.
Inspect hardware promptly. Note obvious damage on delivery and email us photographs within a few days. A delay in telling us makes it harder to show that the damage was present on arrival.
9. Digital delivery
Digital products are delivered by email to the address you gave. Delivery is complete when that message is sent, provided the address was accurate. Links may expire. Download promptly and keep your own copy on a drive you control. We may resend a current link if you write from the same email and the license is still valid, but we do not promise indefinite hosting of every file.
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, except that you may move a single-seat license to a replacement computer you own when the previous computer is retired. You may not share, rent, or resell the license key, the sample library as a competing library, or the color looks as a pack of your own. You may use SoundForge material and CineGrade looks inside projects you create, including client work, as the product page describes.
Digital goods are not returnable once the download has been opened or the key has been revealed, except where the files are defective and we cannot provide a working replacement within a reasonable time. If you have not opened the download, ask for a refund of a digital line before you click it.
10. Cancellations
You may cancel a request before a representative confirms it, simply by writing to that effect. After confirmation, you may cancel hardware until it is handed to a courier. After that point, use the returns process. Digital lines follow the rule in the previous section. We may cancel if payment agreed in email does not arrive within the time the confirmation stated, or if a product becomes impossible to supply. If you have already paid and we cancel, the payment is returned by the same method where that is possible.
11. Returns of hardware
Unused hardware in its original packing may be returned within 30 days of delivery if you write first and receive return instructions. Do not send a parcel to an address we have not given you in that email. We do not publish a returns counter on this website. Items that are soiled, missing parts, or damaged by use beyond a fair inspection may be refused or refunded in part.
Headphones, earbuds, and wearables that have been worn against skin may be treated as used if they cannot be resold as new for hygiene reasons. Ask before you open a seal if you are unsure. Drones and cameras that have been flown or taken into sand, salt, or heavy rain are not unused.
Refunds of returned hardware are made after we receive and check the item, using the payment path from the confirmation. Outbound shipping of an order over $150 that you simply changed your mind about may be deducted if the confirmation said so. Return freight is yours unless the item was faulty or not what we confirmed.
12. Faults and warranty
Hardware is covered for two years from delivery against faults in materials and assembly under ordinary use. The warranty is in addition to any rights that cannot legally be excluded. It does not cover scratches from keys in a bag, liquid spills, cracked screens from drops, lost drones, batteries that have aged through normal cycles, or modifications you made.
To claim, email hello@carmalandscape.com with the product name, the confirmation thread, and a short description of the fault. We may ask for photographs or for the item to be sent as we instruct. Our first remedies are repair or replacement. If neither is reasonable, we refund the price you paid for that item. A repaired or replaced item continues the original warranty period if that is longer than any fresh period the repair note states.
Consumable parts, such as ear cushions and cables that wear from ordinary flexing, are covered if they fail early because of a defect. They are not covered merely because they show use.
13. Your messages
Notes you type into forms should be lawful, relevant, and free of other people’s secrets. Do not send us passwords, full payment card numbers, or scans of identity documents unless a representative specifically asks for a narrower piece of information and explains why. We would rather not hold what we do not need.
If you send a testimonial or a photograph for us to show on the site, you grant us permission to display it in connection with the shop until you ask us to take it down. You keep ownership of your words and pictures.
14. Acceptable use of products
Use drones, radios, and recording devices within the rules of the place you use them. A product page cannot authorize a flight, a recording of a private conversation, or a connection to a network you do not administer. You are responsible for permissions, for bystanders, and for not pointing a camera or a microphone where you have no right to record.
Software and sample libraries must not be used to build malware, to break access controls, or to infringe someone else’s copyright. Creative tools are for creative work and ordinary business files.
15. Intellectual property
The Carmalandscape name, the logo mark, the words on these pages, and the arrangement of the shop are ours or are used with permission. You may link to a public page. You may not copy the logo onto your own goods, mirror the site, or present our descriptions as your catalog. Product names on this site are our labels for the items we offer. They are not a claim that we are the manufacturer of every component shown in a photograph.
Trademarks of other companies may appear in photographs of real equipment. Those marks belong to their owners. A photo is not a statement that Carmalandscape is that company or that we sell every branded object visible in a picture.
16. Third-party services
The site may load typefaces from a font service so the pages match their design. Share icons open the sharing page of another service and send that service the address of our public homepage if you choose to share. We do not control those services. Their terms apply once you leave, or once their page opens. Email providers that carry messages between you and hello@carmalandscape.com are also outside this website. Keep your mailbox secure.
17. Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided with reasonable care, and product descriptions are written in good faith. Except for the warranty we state, and except for responsibilities that cannot legally be limited, we do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, that a browser will store your cart forever, or that a particular accessory you already own will pair with a listed product. Local storage can be cleared by your browser. Keep your own note of anything important.
Advice in the blog is general education. It is not a professional engineering report for your building, your flight area, or your medical situation. Headphones and speakers are not hearing protection unless a page expressly says they are certified as such. Ours do not.
18. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect loss arising from use of the site or from a delay in email. Our total liability arising out of a confirmed product, whether in contract or otherwise, is limited to the price you paid for that product, except where a faulty product causes a kind of loss the law requires us to cover more fully. We are not liable for loss caused by your failure to keep a license email, by a wrong email address, or by use of a drone or recorder contrary to local rules.
19. Indemnity
If you misuse a product, infringe someone else’s rights with a download, or send unlawful content through a form, you will cover the reasonable losses and costs we suffer as a direct result, including a reasonable cost of responding to a claim, except to the extent our own fault caused the loss.
20. Email list
Newsletter signup is separate from orders. You can subscribe and unsubscribe from the footer links. Order messages about a request you asked us to confirm are not marketing. Leaving the newsletter does not cancel a warranty or a license. Marketing mail will stop once we process an unsubscribe sent to hello@carmalandscape.com or once you remove the address on the unsubscribe page for the copy stored in your browser. Details are in the privacy policy.
21. Privacy
Our privacy policy describes what this website stores on your device and how email you send us is handled. The privacy policy is part of the way we look after information. If it conflicts with these terms on a privacy question, the privacy policy wins on that question. On a question about products, price, or liability, these terms win.
22. Interruptions
We may pause the website for correction or simply because a static host is briefly unreachable. Cart data on your device is not backed up by us. A pause does not cancel an order that a representative has already confirmed by email.
23. Entire agreement and severability
These terms, the privacy policy, and the confirmation email for a specific order are the whole agreement for that order. A note on a blog post does not override them. If a section of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in force. A failure to enforce a section once is not a waiver.
You may not transfer your side of a confirmed order without our written agreement. We may ask a partner to deliver a parcel or to host a download, and we remain responsible for the obligations these terms place on us.
24. Contact
Questions about these terms, a return, a warranty, or a digital license go to hello@carmalandscape.com. Include the product name and, if you have it, the email thread where the order was confirmed. We reply on working days, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Please do not send a phone number or a postal address unless we have asked for a delivery location in the order thread. The public pages of this site are not the place we collect either.
